The International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Amateur Championship, taking place at Dubai Muscle Show, is organized in partnership with Universal Muscle Fitness & Fashion (UMFF), the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness, and supported by Emirates Bodybuilding Federation.
Our aim is to create successful competition among male & Female athletes in the region while maintaining the real essence of bodybuilding in its purest form.

Dubai Pole Cup
THE DUBAI POLE CUP WILL BE THE MIDDLE EAST’S FIRST EVER POLE DANCING COMPETITION
With the aim of developing pole dancing as a sport and art around the world, that promotes health and wellness and brings together the pole community in the Middle East. Dubai pole cup is an international competition and will have some of the most recognised names in the industry participating.

TESTS OF STRENGTH
Strongman/woman is a spectacular sport in which athletes compete in a variety of events involving different aspects of fitness, strength, speed, power, physical and mental robustness. It differs from conventional weight lifting in that the event disciplines are extreme simulations of everyday manual labour activities (such as tyre flipping., farmers’ walk and the like) and so represent unique technical challenges and also a great draw for spectators who might not otherwise be interested in fitness.
Strongman/woman is one of the purest individual sports; no team mates or referees: just you and a seemingly inhuman challenge, such as deadlifting a family hatchback! That said, the community of strongman is like no other. All athletes, galvanised by a common desire to face the sheer physical and mental challenge, help and encourage their fellow strongmen in training, preparation and even in competition.
The 2017 edition of Emirates Strongest Woman & Emirates Strongest Man will have 3 categories of participants:
- Women – Open weight category
- Men – Under 90kg
- Men – Open weight category
Each category will have 10-12 competitors, fighting it out over 6 individual tests of strength for the ultimate accolade of becoming Emirates Strongest Woman/Man. For those wishing to compete, please click on the ‘Register to Compete’ button below and complete the form.

Muscle & Fitness Middle East are looking for 1 male and 1 female fitness model capable of gracing the front cover of one of the world’s leading fitness magazines.
Entries will be judged on a combination of a healthy lifestyle, a fit body, charisma, glamour and the ability to project yourself as a global fitness personality.

WORLD CALISTHENICS GAMES
This will be the Middle East’s premier calisthenics and street workout competition.
16 of the world’s best Calisthenics athletes will perform a 2 minute freestyle performance on Day 1 to qualify for a 1 vs 1 knockout battle on Day 2.
Calisthenics as a sport has seen a 5000% increase in active athletes since 2008.
Fr3e60 and RAGE FITNESS will also be giving spectators the opportunity to learn some basics and win some equipment between performances by local and world class athletes.

Dubai Muscle Show will host a series of MMA and Boxing bouts over both days of the show.
The competition will feature some of the best amateur fighters from across the Middle East with special guest appearances from the region’s most successful professional fighters.
Action will take place from 10am to 7pm on each day of Dubai Muscle Show, with a record number of fighters stepping forward to battle in front of the thousands of Dubai Muscle Show spectators.
This is the ultimate amateur contest for any fighter in the region looking to prove themselves at the Middle East’s premier fitness event.
